Bad wire day? Will giving our technology a personality improve our productivity?
Artie, the Robothespian robot from Oxford Brookes University Robotics Laboratory joined Nicola Strong at the ABP Annual conference 2015.
The discussion was focused on whether robots will take many of the jobs previously thought to be impossible to automate. Many futurists are proposing that over 35% of the workforce will lose their jobs to artificial intelligence, machine2machine technology and robotics in the next 10 to 20 years.
Nicola looked at the progress and successes of both artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics and invited the audience to debate how business psychology might play a role in designing the behaviour of our digital work colleagues in the future.
